What can I do with Facebook?
With Facebook on your INQ Mini 3G, you can see your newsfeed and update your status, see pokes, invites and messages – and respond quickly, see your friends status messages and pictures, see friends’ profiles, post on other peoples walls, upload photos and more. You can add Facebook friends to your contacts list and, by merging a friend’s Facebook details with their mobile number, you’ll see their Facebook profile pic whenever they call you.

Do I need a browser to use Facebook?
Your INQ Mini 3G uses your data connection to communicate with Facebook. You can do most things using the Facebook application on your INQ Mini 3G. For some Facebook activities the browser on your INQ Mini 3G will open. This uses the same data connection.

Does it cost money to use Facebook?
There’s no charge for using Facebook. The Facebook on your INQ Mini 3G uses data when connecting to the internet (for updates, new messages, etc). Your network provider may charge you for that data - check with your provider how they will charge you. An INQ Mini 3G is best used with a flat-rate data plan (ie. unlimited data for a fixed price).

Do I need to log in every time I use Facebook?
Facebook can log you in automatically each time you turn on your INQ Mini 3G. To set this up, go to Options > Settings > Log in & updating, and choose ‘Automatically’ in the ‘Log me in’ field.

How can I get my Facebook friends' status and profile pics in my address book?
To see friends’ status messages and profile pictures in your contacts list, add friends to your Mobile Friends List. Open Facebook (login if you haven’t already done so), scroll up and select Friends, then scroll right to Mobile Friends list. Select ‘Edit Mobile friends list’ at the top of this page, and mark those Facebook friends you’d like to add to your contacts list. Press Done when finished.
In your contacts list you can merge contacts (so that Sam Smith’s Facebook profile is connected to the mobile number you have for Sam Smith). To do this, go to your contacts list and highlight a name to be merged. Press Options > Merge contacts > Continue. Now Mark Sam Smith’s mobile number and Sam Smith’s Facebook profile, then choose Done.

How do I choose which Facebook friends should appear in the address book?
Choose which friends to add to your contacts list using the ‘Edit Mobile Friends list’. Open Facebook from the Home screen by scrolling to Facebook and selecting it.
From Facebook home page, scroll up to Friends and scroll right to Mobile Friends list. Select Edit mobile Friends list and follow instructions to choose which friends to add to your address book.

When do I receive Facebook notifications?
You’ll receive a notification on your INQ Mini 3G each time you receive a poke, friend request or Facebook message.

How do I upload photos to Facebook?
Uploading photos to Facebook is easy. From the Home screen open the camera by pressing the camera key below the Switcher key on the right side of your INQ Mini 3G.
Now point and press to take your photo.
To upload your photo to Facebook, straight from the camera viewer, scroll to Facebook.
