Scroll to Windows Live Messenger on the Switcher and sign in. If you don’t already have an account, visit messenger.live.com to download it to your PC or Mac. Once you have an account set up, you can sign in via your INQ¹.

How do I send an instant message?
Your INQ¹ adds your Messenger contacts to your phone contacts list. To send an instant message from your Contacts List, choose a Windows Live Messenger friend and choose Options > WL Messenger > Chat. Alternatively scroll to Windows Live Messenger from the Switcher and select it. From Contacts, choose someone to chat to and select Options > Send Msg.

Can I add my Windows Live messenger contacts to my INQ¹ contacts list?
The first time you sign into Windows Live Messenger, you will be asked if you’d like to add your Messenger contacts to your INQ¹ Contacts List. By adding Messenger contacts to your Contacts List you will be able to send instant messages to them directly from the Contacts List.
