Backup & Restore

With the PC Suite, you can back up your INQ Mini 3G’s phonebook, messages, and calendar appointments - as well as information on your SIM card - to your computer. These can then be restored at a later date. You can also manage and maintain operation logs.

To back up information from your INQ Mini 3G to your computer:

• Select to display the Backup&Restore view
• Select to backup your phone contents to this computer
• Select the contents to be backed up from your INQ Mini 3G
• Select Next
• Select Browse
• Specify where on your computer you wish to save the backup file and select Save
• Select Next. This will begin backing up your file. Select Cancel to cancel the backup
• Once the backup is complete, you can:
  • Select View to open the backup folder
  • Select Done to return to the Backup&Restore view

Note: Before backing up the information, make sure your INQ Mini 3G is properly connected to your computer and there is enough space to store the backup file.

To restore information on your INQ Mini 3G from your computer:

• Select to display the Backup&Restore view
• Select to restore previously saved contents to your phone
• Select Browse
• Select the file to be restored and select Open
• Select Next
• Select the contents to be restored to the communication device
• Select Next to restore the contents successfully. Or select Cancel to cancel the restoration. If the restoration fails, an error message will appear
• If the restoration is successful, select Done to complete the process

Note: Before restoring the contents, please make sure the contacts, messages and the calendar appointments have been backed up on the PC. If you restore your handset it will wipe all existing data. You can cancel this process at any point or accept.
