New Senior Appointments at INQ
INQs expansion plans have led to the opening of new offices in Beijing, Singapore and Silicon Valley in California. Yesterday we announced senior appointments including that of Kinson Loo, who joins as INQ president for Greater China.

At INQ we think the world’s a better, more exciting and diverse place when technology makes it easy for people to express themselves however and whenever they want.
Art, in the many forms it takes, is key to self-expression, and has greatly benefitted from the internet in terms of reach. We want to extend this process, which is why we run INQ + ART. Our first, ongoing, project is: “the box is a canvas, help is a card”
We have collaborated with illustrators we really like to turn our packaging and help cards into objects to cherish, not chuck.
Alberto Cerriteño
Alberto Cerriteño is a Mexican illustrator & designer who has lived in America; Portland for nearly four years now. Strongly inspired by urban vinyl toys, alternative cartoons, and the pop surrealism movement, Alberto Cerriteño has developed his own very personal technique and style, having always present a delicate hints of traditional Mexican artistic influences in his management of rich textures and decorative patterns.

Brett Wilkinson
Onesidezero is the work of British creative Brett Wilkinson. Self taught in illustration Brett’s work began life as a series of personal projects quickly recognised by the likes of Amelia’s Magazine and Computer Arts. Recent clients include Panasonic and The Big Chill Festival whilst appearing in a wealth of exhibitions internationally and several publications by Taschen, Idn, Page One and Ginco. Alongside illustrational work Brett directs annual design events at Inkthis.

Caroline Ayello Wright
A Kingston University graduate, Caroline has created illustrations for organisations such as The Guardian, Orange and Computer Arts. Her exhibitions include the ICA Bookfair as a solo artist and Islington Art and Design Fair as part of the collective, Candeo Illustration. Recognition has come from D&AD (Winner ‘Best New Blood’) and AOI Images 31.
Danny Sangra
Danny Sangra - the polymath of creativity. This multi-tasking artist incorporates illustration, design and video direction into his work – always trying to find new things to create, new ways of expressing himself. Often with an iconoclastic approach, Sangra constantly creates truly original pieces. After studying graphic design at Central St Martins he went on to have solo exhibitions all around his adopted city of London and then in Europe,Tokyo and New York. A consistent style runs through his work but you don’t know where he will take it next. Sangra has worked and collaborated with clients such as Sony, BBC, Louis Vuitton, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Orange, Showstudio, V Magazine, Nylon, Virgin records, Burton.

She grew up left to her own devices with a set of felt-tips in the backwaters of the English countryside surrounded by woods, man eating badgers and small angry chickens that chased her across the garden. Some of her influences include Monty Python animations, horses, crocodiles, hairy mermaids, thunderstorms and the 1980’s. Clients have included Virgin Atlantic, MTV, Computer Arts, The South London Press, and most recently the front cover for Korean magazine ‘Digital Brush’

Helena Garcia
Raised in South Florida with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Helena enjoys creating designs and paintings consisting of whimsical characters. These include animals to little girls with funny haircuts and everything in between. Her inspirations come from Japanese aesthetics, cartoons from the 60’s and vintage design. On her spare time she enjoys baking, playing Nintendo and taking naps with her chihuahua, Kiko.
Karolin Schnoor
Karolin Schnoor is originally from Berlin but moved to London to study Illustration where she has remained since her graduation from the University of the Arts. In her freelance work she likes to flit between design and illustration. Her love of screenprinting informs the way her drawings are structured, pairing flat colours with elements of pattern. When she is not working she is an avid reader and tries to infuse all her work with elements of narrative. Clients include Nokia, Time Out and Amelia’s Magazine.

His work has been used across advertising, CD and book covers, fashion catalogues and magazines - most recently creating illustrations for Lavalife’s global advertising campaign. Awards include a Gold medal from the Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles. He currently lives in NYC where he teaches Fashion Illustration at the School of Visual Arts.

Based in tropical Philippines, hes been freelancing since 2002. he also keeps himself busy promoting digital art in the local scene, organizing exhibits for illustrators and graphic designers in cebu. he has designed snowboards for blackhole and illustrated for computer arts magazine among others.

Pablo Bisoglio
Based in Buenos Aires, Pablo is a 29-year old designer and illustrator whose work has graced numerous international magazines. Established as a freelancer since 2004, he previously worked producing CD & DVD booklets and TV post production visuals. He is currently studying for a degree in Graphic Design at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
Paul Vizzari
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Paul graduated from Swinburne National Institute of Design in 06′ with a Bachelor of Communication Design. For the next two years he worked for a publication design agency with clients including the Australian Football League. These days Paul freelances and is packing his pencil case for the beginning of a new journey towards his true dream of being an Illustrator. Drawing for Paul is a natural yet obsessive engagement, he is always evolving and changing his techniques and style but enjoying every moment of it.

The characters from ‘Chicken and Cat’, her children’s book, were created from a white paint splodge on her first apartment wall. Her other books include ‘Robot Dreams’ and ‘Sweaterweather’. She also enjoys riding her bike, watching movies and her pet dogs.

Sloane Leong
Born in South California in 1990, Sloane grew up enjoying animals, music, writing, painting, drawing and travelling. With such a background, it’s no surprise she explores different mediums and subjects. She likes to give people new and interesting things to look at by combining graphic design with surrealism and cartoons. A self-taught artist, she currently lives in South Oregon. She says, “You should expect something strange and amusing.”
Theodoru Badiu
Based in Vienna, Austria Teodoru Badiu is an artist whose work was published in various international magazines and books. After the day job the SAE, Creative Media Designer Graduate loves to create fantastic, colourful and whimsical, showing otherworldly creatures and plants living together in perfect harmony. He likes to work on different media like digital photo manipulations, vector, 3D and mixed media illustrations and also combines those different media to bring his visions to life.

Tooco are three vowels and two consonants arranged around randomly next to each other. Tooco could have been “Torcuato” or also “Conrado”, but finally became someone named Francisco. Tooco could have been an architect, but short was the ride between beams and scaffolding, and finally he decided to go into the illustration world. Having his studies of Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), he is now also part of Gabriele’s Design professorship at the same university; and he works as a freelance illustrator and Graphic Designer.

Wayne Snooze
Largely self-taught, Wayne was once part of a collective creating projected club night visuals and footwear designs (from textile and logo through to shoebox and insole). Wayne has also designed, produced and sold his own t-shirt range as well as produced illustrations for magazines and clothing companies. His recent work sees a departure from illustration, as Wayne is designing a range of Active wear for a popular sports brand.

Zoomy Zhang
Zoomy Zhang graduated from Tongji University in Shanghai, then, furthered her study and got Master degree of multimedia in London University of Arts. She previously worked as a video game concept artist and GUI artist in both Shanghai and London. Now she’s moving her career into mobile phone industry and working for INQ UI team. She still engages in painting, building interactive installation, creating different information art styles and exploring life experience. As the one with half traditional and half digital design background, Zoomy’s work criteria is aiming to balance arts and science and find the visual scenario behind interactions.
