      How do I transfer files between my computer and my INQ Mini 3G?

      Connect your INQ Mini 3G to your PC, using the USB cable provided. On the INQ dashboard, click on the 'File transfer' icon.
      You can now easily drag and drop files between your computer and INQ MIni 3G.
      If you prefer using PC Suite, you'll find the file transfer options under the Media tab.
      You can download and install PC Suite from www.inqmobile.com/src/pcsuite

      To access the files on the SD card from PC or Mac you can also explore it as you would any removable disk.
      Make sure you connect the handset while on the home screen and select 'Yes' when asked to transfer files directly to and from your memory card. You can now access the phones' SD Card.

      For Mac users, file transfer from the phone's internal memory is only available after setting up a Bluetooth connection.

      How do I back up content from my phone?

      With the PC Suite, you can back up your INQ Mini 3G’s phonebook, messages, and calendar appointments - as well as information on your SIM card - to your PC. These can then be restored at a later date.

      What's the easiest way to manage my music and photos on my INQ Mini 3G?

      Start by downloading doubleTwist on your Mac or PC and follow the installation instructions. You can see more information about this at www.inqmobile.com/doubletwist. Connect your INQ Mini 3G to your computer with the USB cable, open doubleTwist and you'll be able to easily listen to tracks from your phone, move pictures around and copy files from your computer to your phone or the other way around; just drag and drop files to your phone and file types will be converted automatically.

      If you have any trouble accessing files on your INQ Mini 3G via your Mac or PC, make sure the data transfer mode is set to Memory card transfer (Menu > Settings > Advanced > Connectivity > Memory Card Transfer > Activate).

      How do I install doubleTwist on my computer?

      You can either go direct to the doubleTwist website or click on the doubleTwist icon on your computer dashboard that appears when you connect your INQ Mini 3G to your computer.

      Please note that in order to access the doubleTwist website from your dashboard you will need to have an active internet connection.

      How do I use my INQ Mini 3G as a modem for my PC or Mac?

      Connect your INQ Mini 3G to your computer, using the mini USB cable provided. If this is the first time you have connected your phone to your computer you'll see a dashboard and icons on your computer screen.

      Select the Mobile Modem icon (or from your Mac desktop click on the INQ icon to open a new Finder window, then click on INQ modem). Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

      Once installed, an ‘INQ Mobile Modem’ dialogue box will appear on screen. To connect your computer to the internet, just click the green ‘Connect’ button.

      How do I use Mobile Modem over Bluetooth®?

      For full instructions on using Mobile Modem over a Bluetooth® connection, see the user guide section on connecting to your computer.

      Please note that in order to connect to Mobile Modem over Bluetooth® on your PC, you must be using the standard Microsoft drivers that come pre-installed on your PC and not any additional drivers that come bundled with the Bluetooth® device.

      What type of memory card can I use with my INQ Mini 3G?

      Your INQ Mini 3G has 100Mb on board memory. This can be expanded with a microSD / SDHC memory card. (8GB memory cards have been successfully tested)

      Does my INQ Mini 3G support HSDPA?

      Yes, your INQ Mini 3G supports HSDPA (High Speed Download Packet Access). HSDPA – sometimes known as 3.5G – can support much higher data transfer speeds than normal 3G.

      How do I change my phone to Silent mode?

      If you change your INQ Mini 3G to Silent mode, the ringtone will not sound when you receive a call and you won’t hear the message tone when you receive a message. To switch to Silent mode, press the Menu key, scroll to Settings then choose Profiles > Silent > Activate, or press and hold the # key from the home screen to change your Profile setting.

      How do I access voicemail?

      To access your voicemail quickly, press and hold the “ 1 “ key. This will ‘speed-dial’ your voicemail box to access messages and voicemail settings options.

      How do I search the web?

      You can search the web with your INQ Mini 3G, using the built-in internet browser. Press the Menu key, scroll to Browser and Open. You can enter an address directly into the address line, or enter a word or phrase to search on in the search box below. Just press ‘Go to’ after you’ve entered address or search word.

      To make searching the web even easier, you can set up a search widget so an internet search box is always on your Home screen. To set up a search widget, scroll up on the Home screen and select Options > Manage widgets and scroll to the search widget
